What made Que Tran, the fifth generation representative of a family with 100 years of singing career, take a special interest in these pure dishes?

Anyone can be a vegetarian

Que Tran said she is not a vegetarian, but sometimes she eats vegetarian food for her health, when she wants to reduce meat and focus on green, healthy, clean dishes.

When she wanted to open a restaurant, she immediately thought of a vegetarian restaurant. Que Tran went to many vegetarian restaurants for reference and finally she chose to design her restaurant in a friendly, green style, not following any religion.

This means it is not only for practitioners, anyone can come and eat vegetarian food and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

She said she was very touched when many viewers found out that she opened a restaurant and came to support her. Many viewers from the province even rented cars to go to the city to eat vegetarian food at Que Tran restaurant "to know".

However, Que Tran does not want customers to come to the restaurant just because of her name, but wants to keep people because of the quality of the food and service.

She confided: "With this restaurant, I do not just stop at business but also want to spread a green lifestyle, good for the environment, good for our health.

We are very happy that after a period of operation, every noon we often welcome many office workers to eat. This means they choose vegetarian dishes as their daily menu, not just for vegetarians."

Currently, Que Tran develops vegetarian dishes to serve the needs of enjoying regional dishes such as broken rice, vermicelli with crab, Pho Que Son, Southern sour soup, banana flower salad with coconut root, mushroom cream soup, herbal baked mushroom rice, banh xeo...

In addition, every month at the restaurant she organizes a cultural program to raise funds to help the poor, artists, workers, and the elderly and sick backstage staff. Since having a vegetarian restaurant, she has also regularly cooked and distributed vegetarian meals to the needy.

Que Tran's restaurant chef won the vegetarian cooking competition.

Many visitors to the 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival at Binh Phu Park (Binh Phu Ward) were surprised to see artist Que Tran standing happily in front of a booth and inviting everyone to enjoy vegetarian food. It turned out that Que Tran participated in a booth here.

More surprisingly, when the organizers announced the award from the Green master chef Vietnam 2025 competition for professional chefs to show off their vegetarian cooking skills, the names of two chefs from Que Tran's vegetarian restaurant were included.

The gold medal was awarded to the Asia-Europe Culinary School, while the silver medal went to two chefs Tran Ninh and Huynh Bao Khanh from artist Que Tran's Visatra restaurant.

Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Que Tran said that in more than a year since opening the vegetarian restaurant, these two chefs have been with her since the beginning.

She confided that the two friends only know how to work hard. When hearing about this competition, Que Tran encouraged her two chefs to participate to have the opportunity to learn, exchange and improve their skills.

"I'm very happy to see you guys win silver medals because I observed that there are many professional and reputable vegetarian restaurants and units participating in this competition.

That achievement is already a great effort of you guys. However, the award is just an encouragement, the most important thing is still serving customers with delicious vegetarian dishes, the goal that our restaurant always tries to find and preserve to serve customers best" - Que Tran expressed.
