On the evening of July 1st, Rap Viet episode 6 of season 3 officially aired, concluding the Conquest round of Rap Viet season 3. The last remaining tickets have found their deserving owners to advance to round 2.

Rapper Double2T performs his rap song "Authentic Mountain Man".

The highlight of this episode is the appearance of rapper Bui Xuan Truong, rap name Double2T, from the Northwest mountainous region, with his rap song "Sound of the Mountains".

The rap lyrics draw inspiration from the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic group through two songs: "In La Oi" and "Chiec Khan Pieu".

Double2T shared his desire to bring the unique sounds and traditions of the mountainous regions closer to everyone through rap. He hopes to bridge the gap between the mountainous and lowland areas, allowing people to better understand the customs, traditions, and lives of the mountain dwellers.

Sharing his thoughts on Double2T's performance, coach B Ray said: "Initially, when you came out, I thought you wouldn't fit my team's coaching style, but then I saw a Masew in you, and I think Masew can help with the genre of music you're making."

When asked about his goals and whether he would perform well if he were to join a coach's team with a different style than his current one, Double2T confidently declared without hesitation: "I'm 100% sure I would do well!" After some deliberation, the three judges placed Double2T on Coach B Ray's team.

The owner of the final golden hat has been revealed.

SMO's appearance in Rap Viet episode 6, season 3 also created a sensation. As soon as MC Tran Thanh introduced SMO, coaches Andree Right Hand and Thai VG immediately stood up.

Andree earned SMO thanks to the Golden Hat.

Sharing his reason, Coach Andree said: "I already know SMO and have listened to many of his music on YouTube, so I wanted to stand up and see how he would perform this part."

SMO's rap performance of "Let's Fly High" was very impressive. SMO received 4 selections from the 4 coaches and 95% of the audience vote. Given his explosive performance, it didn't take long for all 4 coaches to decide to press the button and select him for their team.

As for Andree, he was completely captivated by SMO's flow and enunciation. The male coach praised the contestant for his excellent transition from trap to drill beats. Judge Karik commented that SMO was already a professional rapper with intelligent handling of the song.

Three judges suggested bringing SMO to Coach Thai VG's team. Unable to lose his favorite contestant, Coach Andree immediately used his powerful Golden Hat to snatch the contestant back right in front of Coach Thai VG. Ultimately, SMO became the owner of Coach Andree's powerful Golden Hat and a member of the team.

Emperor Dlow makes a comeback.

In episode 6, a series of familiar faces from the rap community also made an appearance.

Dlow delivered a catchy performance, commanded the stage, and energized the audience.

Dlow – a name no longer unfamiliar to the rap community – impressively made it to the top 8 of Rap Viet season 2. Sharing about his return to Rap Viet season 3, Dlow said: “Although I had experience competing from the previous season, with this return, I told myself I have to try twice or three times harder than last season.”

Dlow won 98% of the audience votes and received 2 votes each from Coach Thai VG and Coach Andree.

The three judges, Suboi, Karik, and JustaTee, decided to bring Dlow into coach Andree Right Hand's team.

wAvy – the rapper with the distinctive deep voice, known as a member of the same crew as Obito – Ocean MOB, is also a familiar face.

He delivered a sweet rap performance of "Not Just a Fleeting Moment," based on the original song "Just a Fleeting Moment." Impressing with his unique voice, the rapper became a member of coach Thai VG's team.

Nhat Hoang, who previously gained attention on King of Rap, also appeared in episode 6 of season 3 of Rap Viet. His performance had a catchy melody, but his rap wasn't particularly good. None of the coaches pressed the button to select him, so he left the competition, much to the disappointment of Tran Thanh, the judges, and the audience.

With his hilarious performance of "The Water Hyacinth Boy," Snoop Dee brought laughter to the entire film set and became a member of Coach BigDaddy's team.

In addition, Shorty Thang – a Vietnamese rapper of Chinese descent – ​​also impressed with his rap song "Come Visit," featuring witty lyrics introducing the Chinese community in Saigon. Shorty Thang received two selections and became a member of coach Andree Right Hand's team.

Episode 6 of Rap Viet Season 3 (2023) concluded the race to recruit contestants for their teams in the Conquest round. Currently, all four teams have secured eight strong contestants each, ready to participate in Round 2 – the challenging and demanding Battle Round.
