From November 1st to 30th, 2025, the Vietnam National Village of Ethnic Cultures will host November activities themed "Great Unity - The Quintessence of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures."
The activities are organized to introduce the traditional culture of ethnic groups, experience unique cultural values, facilitate exchanges, and display exhibits... aiming to raise community awareness about the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural heritage, while also promoting cultural exchange among ethnic groups, attracting tourists, improving the tourism product of the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village, and enriching the activities of the "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week in 2025.
Through activities within the framework of the November event "Great Unity - The Quintessence of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures," the aim is to honor the spirit of national unity, emphasize the role of unity among the 54 ethnic groups in building and defending the Fatherland, and contribute practically to celebrating the Party Congress at all levels. This also aims to promote the strength of national unity, enhance exchanges among ethnic groups, and foster solidarity, cohesion, and mutual support for development.
At the same time, it attracts domestic and international tourists, contributing to sustainable tourism development, while educating the younger generation about national pride, awareness of protecting and promoting cultural identity, and fostering love for Vietnam and its people; promoting local culture and tourism to connect cultural tourism and exchange within regional tourism linkages.

With the theme "Great Unity - The Quintessence of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures," the November program will feature many attractive activities such as: Reenactment of the Brotherhood Ceremony (Prơ ngooch) of the Co Tu people in Da Nang city; the "Echoes of the Great Forest" cultural exchange program; introduction of cuisine and experience of the traditional cultural space of the Co Tu people; activities in village clusters emphasizing the tradition of unity, solidarity, sharing, and mutual support within the community; the folk song and dance program "Song of Unity" of the Central Highlands ethnic groups performing daily at the Village; and the folk song and dance program "Dance of Unity" of the Northern ethnic groups performing at the Village.
Specifically, in November, the Vietnam National Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village will host activities within the framework of the "National Unity Week - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" from November 18-23, including: the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 "National Unity Week - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" and the 2nd Muong Ethnic Group Cultural Festival at the Vietnam National Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village; a scientific seminar on "Preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development"; a program to promote and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends at the "Common House"; the National Unity Day at the Vietnam National Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village; cultural festivals, performances, exchanges, and introductions of ethnic cultures; and a regional cultural exchange program.
In addition, on weekends, there will be daily activities organized by ethnic minority groups, such as showcasing traditional culture according to the unique identity of each group, where tourists can learn about architecture, costumes, folk songs and dances, and festivals.
Along with that are various forms of folk performances, traditional musical instrument performances, and traditional folk games; experience and interact with typical cultural performances of the ethnic groups that are active daily at the Village: singing songs about the Central Highlands, playing the Tinh instrument and singing Then songs, Xoe dance, performing Muong gongs, Central Highlands gongs, folk T'rưng instrument, Dinh put, Rom vong dance;

Visitors can also learn about ethnic cuisine and enjoy unique dishes: steamed sticky rice, chicken cooked with bamboo shoots, steamed vegetables, grilled fish, pork dishes, colored sticky rice... of the Muong and Thai ethnic groups; grilled chicken... of the Dao and Kho Mu ethnic groups; coffee, cocoa... of the Ede and Xo Dang ethnic groups; braised pork belly, sausage, smoked meat, stuffed bamboo shoots... of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups; traditional cakes of various ethnic groups; and other activities: tea picking, weaving, musical instrument making, teaching traditional musical instruments, handicraft weaving, brewing rượu (rice wine), and processing traditional medicine.
In addition, vibrant traditional cultural experiences are organized with folk games such as: playing O An Quan (a traditional Vietnamese board game), checkers, bamboo puppetry… in the indoor space; stilt walking, bamboo pole dancing, swinging, seesaw… in the outdoor space.
Through a number of simple games, students not only get to experience, learn about, and explore nature and animals, contributing to the development of thinking, creativity, and dexterity skills, but also strengthening friendships and family bonds.
