Brilliant red flag with yellow star at school celebrating 50 years of national reunification
In the sacred atmosphere of the whole country towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many schools in Ha Dong district (Hanoi) have organized practical activities to educate revolutionary history, arouse national pride and foster love for the homeland for today's generation of students.

With the spirit of “When drinking water, remember its source”, schools have created many lively forms, such as: Decorating classrooms, hallways and schoolyards with flags, flowers, and slogans promoting the great victory of spring 1975; organizing historical-themed paintings, making wall newspapers, introducing history books, and books about the great victory of the nation.
Many extracurricular activities, historical storytelling, and exchanges with revolutionary witnesses were also organized, creating a heroic and intimate atmosphere.

These activities not only have profound educational value but also help students better understand the value of peace , independence and the great sacrifices of previous generations. From there, they are more proud and responsible in studying and training to be worthy of the tradition of the heroic Vietnamese nation.
Art teacher Do Thi Phuong Mai, Van Yen Primary School (Ha Dong) said that in addition to painting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the teachers wanted to contribute a small effort to educate students about the great sacrifices of their predecessors.
