The compact, convenient design does not affect the T5 EVO's capacity. With the ability to store up to 8TB of data, the T5 EVO can accommodate large files, high-resolution videos , photos and games, suitable for work and entertainment. The T5 EVO 8TB hard drive can store more than 2 million 3.5MB photos, 1.8 million 4MB music files or 3,500 2GB videos.

The new portable SSD focuses on safety through thermal regulation and hardware-based data encryption. Samsung’s Dynamic Thermal Guard technology protects the device from overheating and maintains optimal operating temperatures, in compliance with the international safety standard IEC 62368-1. Furthermore, the product supports 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) hardware data encryption.
The drive also integrates Samsung Magician software, which provides a comprehensive suite of drive management features, including real-time drive health checks, genuine authentication features, performance benchmarking, and firmware updates.
In Vietnam, the T5 EVO is available in 2TB and 8TB capacities – it comes with a USB Type-C-to-C cable and a three-year warranty. The suggested retail price is VND4,749,000 for 2TB and VND16,229,000 for 8TB.
