Samsung launches SSD T5 EVO portable hard drive with super large capacity of 8TB

The SSD T5 EVO portable hard drive is compactly designed. With a length of 95mm, a width of 40mm and a thickness of 17mm, and a weight of 102 grams.

The T5 EVO's convenient and compact design doesn't compromise its performance. With storage capacity up to 8TB, the T5 EVO can hold large files, high-resolution videos , photos, and games, making it suitable for both work and entertainment. The 8TB T5 EVO hard drive can store over 2 million 3.5MB photos, 1.8 million 4MB music files, or 3,500 2GB videos.

The new portable SSD focuses on safety through thermal regulation and hardware-based data encryption. Samsung's Dynamic Thermal Guard technology protects the device from overheating and maintains optimal operating temperatures, in compliance with the international safety standard IEC 62368-1. Furthermore, the product supports 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) hardware data encryption.

The drive also integrates Samsung Magician software, which provides a comprehensive suite of drive management features, including real-time drive health checks, genuine authentication features, performance benchmarking, and firmware updates.

In Vietnam, the T5 EVO is available in 2TB and 8TB capacities – it comes with a USB Type-C-to-C cable and a three-year warranty. The suggested retail price is VND 4,749,000 for 2TB and VND 16,229,000 for 8TB.
