Samsung Display will reportedly supply foldable OLED panels for the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. The company has reportedly begun production of panels for the new models. It will also supply these panels to Samsung Electronics, which plans to start manufacturing the devices next month.
Samsung Display and Samsung Electronics both have factories in Vietnam, so the display panels for the 2025 Galaxy Z series will be shipped to our country once they are completed. Vietnam is also where most of Samsung phones are manufactured. They are manufactured here and exported to most markets around the world.
It is not yet clear whether Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Flip FE at the same time as the other new models. The Korean tech company may decide to launch it in stages so that the cheaper smartphone does not affect the sales of the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
The report also points to the possibility of the FE device launching in Q4 2025, possibly in October or November. Samsung is also working on a tri-fold device, but it's unclear whether that phone will launch in 2025.
