The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of HTV's first broadcast (May 1, 1975 - May 1, 2025), which is also 50 years since the country's reunification. In line with that historical flow, HTV organizes a special art exchange program with the theme "A lifetime, a forest" as a solemn gratitude to the generations who have contributed to the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City Television over the past half century.

At 8:00 a.m. on May 1, HTV 9 will broadcast live a special program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first broadcast of Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV).
