Right from its debut at the exhibition, Skoda Vietnam officially introduced its impressive new product lines, including models making their debut in the Vietnamese market. During the presentation to the media, a series of unique and representative Skoda models were unveiled, including the Skoda Kodiaq, Superb, Octavia, and the Enyaq electric vehicle.
Among the new Skoda models displayed at the Vietnam Motor Show 2024, the all-new Kodiaq was a highlight, attracting significant attention from experts and visitors alike. As a strategic model for Skoda, the Kodiaq is positioned to compete with rivals such as the Kia Sorento, Toyota Fortuner, and Mazda CX-8. The current generation of this 7-seater SUV has received positive feedback from users regarding its quality and design, and the new version boasts significant upgrades compared to the previous model.
At VMS 2024, the new generation Kodiaq was introduced in two versions: Selection 2.0 TDI and Sportline 4×4 2.0 TDI. This model is equipped with many modern amenities such as a 10.25-inch digital display behind the steering wheel, a 13-inch central display, a HUD, a panoramic sunroof,
sporty suede leather seats, power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function, lumbar support pump, heated front seats, and 3-zone automatic climate control, providing users with superior comfort and driving experience.
In addition to the new Kodiaq, Skoda also introduced the D-segment Superb Wagon and the C-segment Octavia vRS sedan – both best-selling models internationally. The Enyaq vRS electric vehicle, in particular, attracted attention with its sustainable mobility technology. Furthermore, the Skoda Kushaq B-segment SUV was also on display; this CKD (completely knocked down) model made a strong impression at the event.
At this event, all Skoda dealerships nationwide were invited to participate in the VIP Tour to admire and
explore the latest models, while also expanding business networking opportunities with industry partners and leading automotive experts. The dealerships were very excited to experience firsthand the advanced technologies and modern designs of the vehicles, and were particularly impressed with the technological innovations and superior features of the new products. The combination of sophisticated design and outstanding features has instilled great confidence in the dealerships regarding the future growth and expansion of the Skoda brand in Vietnam.
This year's VMS event is not only an opportunity for Skoda to showcase its new models but also to affirm its growth potential in the Vietnamese market.
