Digitizing museum artifacts to attract tourists

Ninh Binh is famous for its number of historical relics, scenic spots, along with thousands of artifacts in museums. In recent years, localities and functional sectors have digitized heritage data. On the computer screen at the Provincial Museum's exhibition room, many videos and images are integrated so that visitors have more complete information about the artifacts.

Thousands of years have passed, relics of ancient cultural periods are not only displayed in glass cabinets, but also appear on computer screens. Each artifact with clear color and size parameters, helps viewers have more complete information about the artifact and its history.
Ninh Binh Museum has more than 40 thousand artifacts, currently digitization has been done on over 10 thousand artifacts to serve storage, preservation and put on digital platform. Along with that, more than 50 typical artifacts have 2D, 3D versions to serve visitors, opening up a new approach, a new experience, easy access, viewing documents and artifacts.
According to scientists, digitizing artifacts, archaeological sites or more broadly, historical and cultural relics is a way to exploit the visual arts of heritage in tourism development. It is an important stepping stone to turn heritage into a resource in the development of creative economy and cultural industry. Therefore, digital transformation has brought positive effects in this field.

The digitization of artifacts at the Museum has brought many new experiences to visitors.
