Digitizing and building a digital database on Hoi An cultural heritage

Accordingly, the contents to be implemented include digitizing documents, records, artifacts, relics, intangible cultural heritage, documentary heritage; building a software system to manage Hoi An cultural heritage; investing in information technology equipment; training, transfer, and user instructions. The total investment of the project is expected to be 8 billion VND, implemented in the period of 2025 - 2026.

Digitizing and building a digital database on Hoi An cultural heritage aims to serve the work of archiving, synthesizing, managing, researching, preserving, exploiting and sustainably promoting Hoi An's cultural values.

At the same time, it helps to improve efficiency and ensure consistency in the overall digital government of the city. Thereby, gradually completing the Digital Transformation Project associated with building a smart city in Hoi An City by 2025, with a vision to 2030 according to the resolution of the City People's Council.
