Thua Thien Hue Department of Information and Communications launched a campaign to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3

In recent days, storm No. 3 ( Yagi ) has caused severe damage to people and property in the northern provinces and cities of our country, leaving more than 300 people dead and missing, hundreds of people injured, many houses collapsed, flooded, roofs blown off, damaged, many hectares of rice, crops, trees destroyed, bridges, roads and means of transport severely damaged. In this emergency situation, many units from localities across the country have joined hands to contribute human and material resources to support people in flooded areas.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", the Trade Union of the Department of Information and Communications mobilized all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department to contribute at least one day's salary. Through the launching ceremony, the amount of money raised was 18,300,000 VND. This amount will be transferred to the account of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to promptly help and support people in the Northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the fastest time.
