But the schedule is not easy for Daniel Farke, with Arne Slot's Liverpool visiting Elland Road on Saturday. Facing three giants in eight days is too much for a newcomer like Leeds.

The Opta supercomputer has come up with algorithms that predict that Leeds have only a 22.1% chance of beating Liverpool, who are the favorites with a 55.8% chance of winning. In short, Opta thinks that Leeds can surprise Chelsea, but not Liverpool.

Liverpool have not been at their best this season, currently sitting eighth in the Premier League table after a 1-1 draw with Sunderland, but they will be determined to rediscover the form that won them the title last season.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last six Premier League away games against Leeds (W4 D2), winning 6-1 on their last trip to Elland Road in April 2023. Leeds, on the other hand, have often struggled against teams who lifted the trophy last season, winning just one of their last 16 Premier League games against the reigning champions (D4 L11).

But manager Daniel Farke believes this could be the best time for Leeds to break the record against the Premier League champions, with Liverpool struggling on the road recently.
