After about a year of absence from the Vietnamese music scene, Son Tung M-TP officially returned with the new song Making my way. The male singer spent time livestreaming to wait for his return with fans.

At exactly 0:00 on May 5, Son Tung M-TP introduced to the audience his latest "brainchild" called Making my way. According to the crew's previous sharing, this is a milestone marking a new stage in Son Tung M-TP's career, starting with the project Making my way.

As usual, the music products of the singer of Am tham ben em always make fans curious and "guess" about the genre, concept as well as the way the MV is built. Coming to Making my way, Son Tung sends listeners vibrant, catchy English melodies, spreading positive energy in 4 minutes and 18 seconds.

"Making My Way is a song that I spent a lot of time, effort, and nights groping every little bit to complete. I really want to bring a lot of positive energy through the melody of this song. I hope everyone closes their eyes and listens, to see if we can still connect with each other through music," Son Tung said.

The teaser photos for Son Tung's concept this time make fans excited.

He continued: "I remember very clearly, the song Con mua ngang qua also did not have a MV, I made music in a room at my parents' house, with a very "bad" computer. But when it was released, everyone still supported and loved the song. Con mua ngang qua also brought me many wonderful things without needing an MV. The same goes for Em cua ngay hom qua, before having an MV, the audio of the song was released and everyone loved it, its melody filled every street, every province. That made me feel that, up to this point, I really want to change the way I bring music to everyone. I want us to immerse ourselves in music together".

According to Son Tung, all the MV parts and images are just colors to create a background, to honor a song. Of course, the MV will help spread the story to the audience faster, but the song itself does not live on the MV. "We can spend 5-10-15 billion or even many billions of VND to make an MV, but if the song does not touch the hearts and emotions of the audience, it will not do anything. With Making my way, I want to return to being Nguyen Thanh Tung of 2012, 2013. I want to look back with the audience on the journey of more than 10 years of artistic activities, continue to be crowned, to contribute and "burn" myself out in music", Son Tung affirmed.

As soon as the audience listened to the melody of the new song, Son Tung introduced a special guest - Ben Pham, who took on the role of creative director in this MV. Both of them danced and sang along to the melody of Making my way. According to the "owner", the MV will feature an image of Son Tung M-TP standing in front of a temple with the mysterious snake image, all the viewers' questions will be "decoded" when the product is released in the near future.

Ben Pham - who has collaborated with Son Tung many times in previous products, shared: "The first time I heard the song, I was very excited. Through Tung's sharing about the idea when writing this song, I thought of a fantasy, dreamy space, like the quiet water surface of the intro music. This is the song where Son Tung turns a new page, so I want everything, including his image, to be new. This makes many people curious and send me questions."
