On January 18, the Ministry of Education and Training summarized the program “waves and computers for children”. To date, 92,629 tablets (from support from telecommunications companies) have been distributed to students in 24 provinces and cities.

In the 2020-2021 school year, the Covid-19 pandemic has been complicated nationwide, and many localities have had to implement social distancing according to Directive 16/CT-TTg. To ensure that students' learning is not interrupted, localities have implemented online teaching. However, organizing online teaching has encountered many difficulties due to the lack of necessary equipment such as computers, smartphones, internet, etc.

In that context, the “Waves and Computers for Children” program was born. Up to now, the Ministry of Education and Training has received computers and money and distributed them to localities to give to students. Accordingly, 92,629 tablets have been distributed to students in 24 provinces and cities.
