The program took place during the visit of General Secretary andPresident To Lam to UNESCO headquarters, with the participation of UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay and senior leaders.

Accordingly, Sovico Group Corporation (Sovico Group) will be a strategic partner of UNESCO in Vietnam for the period 2025 - 2035 in implementing UNESCO's sustainable development initiatives in Vietnam, including: supporting projects and creative arts activities in the cultural field, promoting the Hanoi Creative Capital project and a chain of creative cities across the country, the happy school project in the education field; the role of youth in economic development initiatives in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, on the basis of traditional cultural and historical values.

Ms. Audrey Azoulay - Director General of UNESCO shared: “We are very pleased with the results achieved in the recent cooperation period with Sovico Group. I believe in Sovico's capacity and commitment in supporting and implementing UNESCO's initiatives and goals in Vietnam in the coming time”.

Previously, in the cooperation period of 2021 - 2025, Sovico Group and UNESCO signed an agreement and jointly implemented the Project "Empowering youth and women to enhance connectivity and local benefits in UNESCO-recognized world heritage sites and creative cities in Vietnam", aiming to support Vietnam in building creative cities, while developing sustainable tourism in local communities in the North Central Heritage Corridor.

In addition, in September 2020, Sovico and United Nations organizations including UNESCO, UNIDO and UN-Habitat cooperated to implement the "Hanoi Rethink" project to support Hanoi to become a creative capital in Asia along with many other meaningful activities.

This strategic cooperation agreement between Sovico Group and UNESCO aims at a long-term, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary cooperation relationship with a priority focus on promoting Vietnamese cultural activities through UNESCO's global network of creative cities in Vietnam and the educational program with the happy school model; contributing to creating important conditions to help realize the commitments of both sides for initiatives and sustainable development goals on the basis of cultural, historical and traditional values ​​in Vietnam and increasingly profound international influences.
