From August 26th to 29th, at Software Park No. 2 in Da Nang City, Google, in collaboration with the National Innovation Center (NIC) and the Da Nang Center for Research, Training in Integrated Circuit Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC), organized the AI Solutions Lab program. This program is part of Google's "Building the Future of AI" initiative, aiming to support Vietnam's digital transformation by strengthening the country's AI ecosystem.

The program provides domestic AI startups with a complete set of Google AI tools and platforms – from building and scaling solutions to security and launch strategies – with guidance from leading experts.
Throughout the program, participating businesses addressed specific challenges, refined GenAI solutions, and received detailed training on optimizing their Google Cloud environments. They rapidly developed prototypes through short development cycles, leveraging key design patterns for GenAI applications.
Beyond just technical skills, the program also equips teams with the skills to prepare and present their products through in-depth workshops, ensuring that the demo and presentation fully convey the creative value.
Twelve outstanding startups presented their AI solutions aimed at addressing key social, environmental, and economic issues after four days of training. This opens up opportunities to attract investment and strategic partnerships, contributing to the development of Vietnam's innovative startup ecosystem.
Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, said that choosing Da Nang as the venue for the program affirms the city's position in the field of high technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) – a strategic technology closely linked to the orientation of building a smart, creative, and sustainable city.
“ I believe that Google for Startups: AI Solutions Lab is not just a training program, but also a launching pad for Vietnamese tech startups to break through, making Da Nang a leading innovation and technology hub in the region,” Mr. Ho Quang Buu emphasized.

Marc Woo, General Director of Google Vietnam, shared: “The strategic partnership with NIC and the Da Nang Center for Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence Research and Training has yielded concrete results, demonstrating that public-private partnerships are driving the National Digital Transformation plan and affirming Vietnam's leading position in AI in the region.”
The AI Solutions Lab is a key highlight, concluding a two-phase journey for Vietnamese entrepreneurs, following the Google for Startups: AI Bootcamp program held in Ho Chi Minh City last week from September 19th to 21st.
The program brought together 72 startups and 150 representatives, providing in-depth knowledge about Google's advanced AI technologies, expert mentorship, and access to Google Cloud to accelerate innovation and development.
