Early morning of December 7 (Vietnam time), Maria D. Cepero from Puerto Rico was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2024 in an exquisite white evening gown designed by designer Nguyen Minh Tuan.

The evening gown designed exclusively for Maria D. Cepero bears the mark of Nguyen Minh Tuan, inspired by the fragile yet vibrant beauty of the pampas grass - a symbol of hidden strength. The white mermaid design is dotted with sparkling gold details, hugging the new beauty queen's seductive curves.

In particular, the curvaceous lines are delicately attached to the see-through material with thousands of crystals and Swarovski stones, creating a shimmering effect with a soft skirt to help the beauty shine brightly on stage.

María D. Cepero has carefully prepared for her journey to conquer the crown by ordering a design from designer Nguyen Minh Tuan 6 months before the contest took place. Notably, the new beauty queen is the only foreign contestant to choose Nguyen Minh Tuan's outfit at Miss Intercontinental this year.

In 2024, designer Nguyen Minh Tuan had a relationship with Puerto Rican beauties. Before Maria D. Cepero, his design Fire Phoenix helped Ashley Melendez win Miss Global 2023.

Maria D. Cepero is also the 42nd beauty crowned in Nguyen Minh Tuan's design this year.

The new Miss Intercontinental 2024 is a talented businesswoman with outstanding physical beauty and knowledge. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Accounting, and is studying Law at the University of Puerto Rico.

The beauty is fluent in 4 languages: Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. Before being crowned Miss Intercontinental, María Cepero was 1st runner-up of Miss World Puerto Rico and entered the Top 5 of Miss World America.
