The program aims to raise awareness and responsibility of school principals in managing kitchens and canteens, ensuring compliance with food safety laws.

The training session provides knowledge and skills on hygiene in food processing, preservation and transportation; instructions on practicing "three-step food inspection" and storing food samples according to regulations.

In particular, units are instructed to use the Da Nang City Food Traceability System (DaNang City Food application) to look up information and evaluate the quality of food and services of food businesses and catering service businesses.

Providing knowledge about food safety for school kitchen staff helps prevent food poisoning and foodborne diseases; at the same time, helps schools proactively control food sources, ensuring safe and nutritious meals for students.
