Green vegetables are an indispensable food source in every family's meal, however, due to recent natural disasters, the large output of many cooperatives in the Northern region has been severely damaged.
To ensure stable supply and prices for consumers, distribution chains have increased imports from areas not affected by floods and storms, expanded warehouses, and are ready to meet the needs of families.
Due to the impact of the recent consecutive storms and floods, supermarkets in Hanoi have had to increase the import of vegetables and fruits from the southern provinces, especially Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, etc. from Da Lat, Lam Dong. The supermarkets also pledged not to increase the prices of essential goods.
The supermarket system said that for the same green vegetable item, they will have dozens of suppliers, and every day at 2:00 p.m. they will update the situation to ensure there is no local shortage of vegetables.
According to the supermarkets, they regularly update the situation of food distribution facilities in the same system, ready to supply support to locations that are deeply flooded. They also prepare personnel to transport goods to online customers, ensuring maximum service to customer requests.
