The National Assembly discussed special policies and mechanisms for Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the National Assembly's working plan, this morning, the National Assembly will listen to a report on the implementation of a number of resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly terms. In the afternoon, the National Assembly will discuss the issue of piloting specific mechanisms and policies for Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, in the morning, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh , Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and State Auditor General will present reports on the implementation of a number of resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly on thematic supervision and questioning.

The Chairman of the National Assembly 's Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision presented a report summarizing the content of the examination of the implementation of a number of resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly terms on thematic supervision and questioning.

Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a summary report on the implementation by members of the Government, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and State Auditor General of the resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly terms on thematic supervision and questioning.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly voted to pass the Emergency Law.

The Minister of Agriculture and Environment, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the report, and the Chairman of the National Assembly's Council of Ethnic Minorities presented the report on the investment policy of the National Target Program on new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2035.

The Minister of Industry and Trade, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism and policy for national energy development in the 2026-2030 period.

The Minister of Construction, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Proposal on investment policy for the Vinh - Thanh Thuy Expressway Construction Investment Project.

The Minister of Finance, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on 2 drafts: Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City; Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee presented the Verification Report on the above four contents.
