Create production and business momentum right from the beginning of the year

Immediately after the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon, the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park in Thai Binh province held a ceremony to launch the "Businesses Competing to Boost Production and Business in 2024" campaign.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, Nguyen Khac Than, informed about the province's outstanding socio -economic achievements in the past year, such as: Thai Binh province's economy maintained development with a growth rate of 7.37%; the economic and labor structures shifted in a positive direction, with the agricultural, forestry, and fisheries structure falling below 20% for the first time; disbursement of public investment capital continued to be among the top in the country; attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) achieved impressive results, reaching US$3 billion for the first time, ranking 5th nationwide in terms of foreign investment attracted.

For the second consecutive year, Thai Binh province has seen the establishment of over 1,000 new businesses. The urban and rural landscapes have undergone significant changes; the construction of advanced and model new rural areas continues to be implemented effectively and efficiently.

During the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024, the total number of gift packages for people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives, poor households, households with difficult circumstances, workers, laborers, social welfare beneficiaries, and children with special circumstances was 442,687, with a budget of 198.8 billion VND (an increase of nearly 59,000 packages compared to the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Rabbit 2023). Salaries and Tet bonuses for workers were guaranteed.

Contributing to the province's outstanding achievements, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province highly appreciated the efforts of the business community and entrepreneurs in the province. At the same time, the business community and entrepreneurs have actively participated in implementing social welfare policies. In particular, during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024, the business community and entrepreneurs donated 36,382 gift packages, totaling over 17 billion VND, to poor households and families in difficult circumstances.

Entering 2024, the leaders of Thai Binh province urged the business community to continue building on the experiences, innovations, and achievements of 2023; to uphold the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement, overcome difficulties, and achieve the highest possible results in each production and business activity; to link emulation movements with the effective implementation of legal regulations in business operations; and to pay attention to all aspects of material and spiritual well-being for workers and employees working in enterprises and production and business establishments.

Strengthen research and grasp the development trends of domestic and international markets to proactively integrate; promote investment in technological innovation, modern equipment, and rationalize production processes. Each enterprise and each entrepreneur should act as a hub connecting and attracting investors and business partners to invest in production and business in the province, especially attracting investment into the Thai Binh Economic Zone to leverage the province's potential and strengths to develop industrial parks, urban areas, and services; and build the coastal area into a key economic development zone of the province.

In that spirit, Chairman Nguyen Khac Than called on all levels, sectors, the business community, and all workers and people in the province to join forces, work together, leverage their intelligence, creativity, and innovation, with the highest determination and effort, to strive in labor and production to achieve and surpass the goals and tasks set for 2024; creating momentum for faster, stronger, and more sustainable development of Thai Binh province in the coming years to make an important contribution to the cause of national renewal and development.

He also stated that the Thai Binh business community and entrepreneurs are determined to immediately focus on promoting the emulation movement in labor and production, epidemic prevention and control, and business development, continuing to contribute to the socio-economic development of the province following this launch event.

In the year of the Dragon 2024, as a pioneering and key industrial park in the Thai Binh Economic Zone, Green i-Park Company will strive even harder to build a complete industrial park infrastructure, transition to clean energy sources, and apply smart management systems to meet the increasingly high demands of investors. In the emulation movement to boost production and business, Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park aims to attract at least $500 million in investment.
