Russian missiles destroy Western weapons depot in Ukraine

In a statement on June 22, the Russian Defense Ministry said that on the night of June 21 and early morning of June 22, the country's military conducted a combined attack, using long-range air and sea weapons as well as drones targeting a number of targets in Ukraine.

These targets include energy infrastructure supporting Ukraine's defense industry as well as ammunition and air weapons depots supplied to Kiev by the West.

"The strike hit all targets," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The Defense Ministry said the latest attack came in response to “Ukrainian attempts to damage Russian energy facilities.”

In recent months, the Ukrainian military has carried out repeated drone attacks on Russian oil processing facilities, including those located far from the border.
