Visiting the environmentally friendly waste treatment model in Yen Khanh district

Implementing the project of propagating and mobilizing farmers to treat waste in Vietnam, contributing to the international community's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions", on October 2, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized for 50 officials and farmer members from Khanh Hoa , Khanh Cong communes, and Yen Ninh town to visit environmentally friendly waste treatment models in Yen Khanh district.

The delegation visited and learned about the experience of raising calcium worms, earthworms, composting organic fertilizer in the fields, and raising chickens on thick biological bedding at the family of Mr. Pham The Luan, Hamlet 15, Khanh Cong Commune (Yen Khanh); this is a family that is implementing closed models of the project to propagate and mobilize farmers to treat waste in Vietnam, implemented by the Provincial Farmers' Association.

Through the visit, Farmers' Association members of communes and towns in Yen Khanh district, together with households implementing the project's models, enhanced the exchange of experiences in building organic waste treatment models among communes that have been directed by the Provincial Farmers' Association to participate in the project.
