Establishment of Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 8

On the afternoon of October 29, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on the establishment of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (CNCH) of Region 8 under the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and CNCH. Attending the ceremony were Colonel Le Quang Dong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; leaders of functional departments of the Provincial Police.

Colonel Le Quang Dong presented the decision of the Provincial Police Director to the Commander of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 8.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department announced the decision of the Provincial Police Director on the establishment of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 8; announced the decision to appoint team-level commanders and the decision to transfer officers to work at the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 8. Accordingly, the team has 3 team-level commanders and 33 officers and soldiers.

The Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 8 is responsible for the following communes and wards: Phan Rang, Dong Hai, Ninh Chu, Bao An, Do Vinh, Ninh Phuoc, Phuoc Huu, Phuoc Hau, Xuan Hai, Vinh Hai, Ninh Hai, Thuan Bac and Cong Hai. The establishment of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 8 aims to improve the capacity and effectiveness of fire fighting and rescue work, meeting the requirements of ensuring the safety of people's lives and property and serving the socio -economic development of the locality. The team is equipped with specialized forces, vehicles and equipment, ready to quickly handle fire, explosion, incidents and accidents occurring in the area and neighboring areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Quang Dong emphasized that the establishment of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 8 is a specific and appropriate step in the roadmap to build a regular, elite and modern fire fighting and rescue force. Colonel Le Quang Dong requested the leaders of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department to focus on directing and implementing all aspects of work so that the team can operate, promote the effectiveness of fire fighting and rescue work, and contribute to ensuring safety, security and order in the area.
