On the afternoon of July 30th, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien held a working session with the Management Board of the Hon La Economic Zone regarding the implementation of projects in the Hon La Economic Zone, Phu Trach commune. Representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and localities also attended.

The Hon La Economic Zone covers an area of ​​10,000 hectares, of which approximately 8,900 hectares are on the mainland and about 1,100 hectares are on the island and sea. It is a multi-sectoral, integrated economic zone encompassing marine economy, industry, tourism, and more.

Following the planning adjustments, the Hon La Economic Zone has seen the construction of basic internal transportation routes, meeting the requirements for management, land clearance, infrastructure development, and attracting investment into the economic zone.

In the Hon La Economic Zone, there are a total of 81 registered and invested projects, with a total investment of 117 trillion VND. Currently, 34 projects by investors have commenced operations, contributing approximately 120 billion VND per year to the state budget and employing nearly 1,000 people.
