On the afternoon of July 30, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien had a working session with the Economic Zone Management Board on the implementation of projects in Hon La Economic Zone, Phu Trach Commune. Attending the meeting were representatives of relevant departments, branches and localities.

Hon La Economic Zone covers an area of 10,000 hectares, of which the mainland is about 8,900 hectares, and the island and sea area is about 1,100 hectares. This is a multi-sector, multi-sector economic zone, including marine economy , industry, tourism...

After the planning adjustment, Hon La Economic Zone has invested in the construction of basically completed internal traffic routes, meeting the requirements of management, site clearance, infrastructure construction and attracting investment into the economic zone.

In Hon La Economic Zone, the total number of registered and invested projects is 81, with a total investment of 117 trillion VND. Currently, 34 projects of investors have come into operation, contributing about 120 billion VND/year to the budget, with a total workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

Regarding some recommendations and proposals related to administrative procedures, investment capital, especially support and compensation for site clearance, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien requested relevant departments, branches and localities to coordinate closely, focus on removing difficulties and obstacles so that projects can be implemented on schedule on the basis of regulations, ensuring harmonious interests between people and businesses.
