The Hon La Economic Zone covers an area of 10,000 hectares, of which approximately 8,900 hectares are on the mainland and about 1,100 hectares are on the island and sea. It is a multi-sectoral, integrated economic zone encompassing marine economy, industry, tourism, and more.
Following the planning adjustments, the Hon La Economic Zone has seen the construction of basic internal transportation routes, meeting the requirements for management, land clearance, infrastructure development, and attracting investment into the economic zone.
