Rules of the music composition contest "Red River - Source of emotions"

This is a music composition campaign organized by the Lao Cai Provincial Literature and Arts Association, within the framework of the Lao Cai Provincial Red River Festival 2024.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee of the campaign received songs by authors who are Vietnamese citizens, with content closely following the theme "Red River - Source of Emotions", focusing on depicting the rich development of the lands and the beauty of Lao Cai people where the Red River flows through. Especially the songs associated with the image of Lao Cai on the Red River, praising the patriotism, diligence and creativity of the Lao Cai ethnic people in the process of building, protecting and developing their homeland; depicting the Lao Cai people as "Solidarity - Patriotism - Discipline - Civilization - Hospitality".

The submitted work must be new, complete with both music and lyrics; not have won any previous competition; and not have any copyright disputes. There is no limit to the number of submitted works.

Time to receive works: from July 15 - August 5, 2024.

Form of receiving works:

The work in file format is sent via email with the email content: Contest to compose the song " Red River - The source of emotions"; attached files include: MP3, MP4 Demo audio files; music file and registration form file.

Works sent by post : 1 complete musical notation and lyrics typed on A4 paper with a recording of the song in MP3 or MP4 format copied to a USB. Apart from the title of the work, the author does not write his/her full name, mark or make any other symbols on the notation and file, or USB containing the work.

Based on the evaluation results of the Jury, the Organizing Committee will decide to award prizes, including: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes. The prizes will be accompanied by a Certificate from the Organizing Committee of the Campaign.
