Vietnam's No. 1 badminton player Nguyen Thuy Linh advanced to the quarterfinals of the women's singles at the 2025 Korea Masters badminton tournament after eliminating a Taiwanese player.

In the first round of the women's singles at the 2025 Korean Masters badminton tournament yesterday, Nguyen Thuy Linh defeated Han Yu Chen (ranked 174th in the world ) in just 28 minutes. That was also the time it took the number 1 Vietnamese player to defeat another Taiwanese player, Hung Yi Ting (ranked 70th in the world), in the second round today.

Second seed Nguyen Thuy Linh (ranked 24th in the world) did not start well in the first set but was able to adjust, neutralize her opponent's play, and break away to win with a score of 21/18.

Everything became easy for Nguyen Thuy Linh in game 2 when she showed her class, played effectively and won with a score difference of 21/9, thereby closing the final victory 2-0 against Hung Yi Ting after only 28 minutes of competition.
