Second seed Nguyen Thuy Linh (ranked 24th in the world) did not start well in the first set but was able to adjust, neutralize her opponent's play, and break away to win with a score of 21/18.
Everything became easy for Nguyen Thuy Linh in game 2 when she showed her class, played effectively and won with a score difference of 21/9, thereby closing the final victory 2-0 against Hung Yi Ting after only 28 minutes of competition.
Consecutively eliminating two Taiwanese players, Nguyen Thuy Linh won the right to enter the quarterfinals of the women's singles event of the 2025 Korean Masters badminton tournament.
