
HNX-Index increased by 2.46 points to 262.13 points. Trading volume reached over 38.6 million shares, equivalent to a value of over VND822.1 billion. The entire floor had 69 stocks increasing in price, 47 stocks decreasing in price and 54 stocks remaining unchanged.
UPCOM-Index increased by 0.43 points to 120.59 points. Trading volume reached over 24.7 million shares, equivalent to a value of over VND458.2 billion. The entire floor had 129 stocks increasing in price, 59 stocks decreasing in price and 76 stocks remaining unchanged.
The VN30 basket had 16 stocks increasing in price, 13 stocks decreasing in price and 1 stock remaining unchanged. However, the VN30-Index only increased slightly by 0.13 points. In fact, the increase and decrease of stocks in the VN30 basket were not large, the strongest increase was MBB with 3.67%. The stocks SSI, STB,ACB , LPB, HDB increased by more than 1%. On the downside, it is worth noting that VHM decreased by 2.25%, SAB decreased by 1.54%, VIC decreased by 2.04%, VJC decreased by 1.96%, VRE decreased by 1.01%. The remaining stocks fluctuated by less than 1%.
Bank stocks were mixed with green and red, many stocks moved sideways. Securities stocks performed quite positively with green dominating.
Green color covered the oil and gas group with PVC, PVB, POS, TOS, PVS, BSR , PVD, PLX, PTV all in green price direction. Many small and medium-cap stocks in the real estate group also recorded price increases.
The morning session on December 4 reflected a cautious market sentiment as investors considered cash flow between stock groups. Although some industry groups remained green, reduced liquidity and limited volatility suggested that the VN-Index was likely to continue moving sideways or fluctuate narrowly in the afternoon session.
