Weather forecast for the night of December 14th: East Sea waves up to 6m high, Northern Vietnam experiencing intense cold.

In the northern South China Sea (including the Paracel Islands), the northeast wind is force 6, reaching force 7 in the east, with gusts of force 8-9. The sea is rough; waves are 4-6 meters high.

In the sea area from Da Nang to Dak Lak, the wind is northeasterly at level 6, gusting to level 7-8. Sea waves are 3-5 meters high.

In the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau , the central part of the East Sea, and the western part of the southern East Sea (including the western part of the Truong Sa special zone), the northeast wind will be at level 6, sometimes level 7, with gusts of level 8-9. The sea will be rough, with waves 3.0-5.0m high.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the southern South China Sea (including the Spratly Islands) and the southern part of the Gulf of Thailand. Tornadoes and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms.

On the night of December 15th and during the day of December 16th, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the western sea area of the South China Sea (including the western sea area of the Truong Sa special zone) will experience strong northeasterly winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, with rough seas and waves 2-4m high.

In the northern South China Sea (including the Paracel Islands), strong northeasterly winds of force 6 are expected, occasionally reaching force 7 in the east, with gusts of force 8-9. The sea will be rough, with waves 3-5 meters high.

All vessels operating in these areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and high waves.

The weather in various regions across the country is as follows: Hanoi: Lowest temperature 13-15°C, highest temperature 22-24°C. No rain at night, sunny during the day, northeast wind at level 2-3, cold weather.

In Northwest Vietnam, the lowest temperature will be 12-15 degrees Celsius, with some areas below 11 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature will be 21-24 degrees Celsius. There will be scattered rain at night, sunny days, and cold weather, with some areas experiencing severe cold.

In the Northeast region, the lowest temperature will be 12-15 degrees Celsius, 8-11 degrees Celsius in mountainous and hilly areas, and below 6 degrees Celsius in some places; the highest temperature will be 21-24 degrees Celsius. No rain at night, sunny during the day. Northeast wind at level 2-3. Cold weather, intensely cold in some mountainous areas.

From Thanh Hoa to Hue, the lowest temperatures in the North are 13-16°C; in the South 16-19°C; the highest temperatures in the North are 20-23°C. There will be scattered rain in the North, and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the South, with localized heavy rain. Winds will be from the North to Northwest at level 2-3. It will be cold in the North, and cold during the night and morning in the South; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

In the South Central Coastal region, the lowest temperatures are 21-23°C in the north and 23-25°C in the south; the highest temperatures are 24-27°C in the north and 29-31°C in the south. The north will experience scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas, and locally heavy rain; the south will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Northeast winds will be at level 3, with gusts up to level 6. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

In the Central Highlands region, the lowest temperature will be 18-21 degrees Celsius; the highest temperature will be 25-28 degrees Celsius. There will be scattered showers at night, sunny during the day; northeast winds at level 2-3.

In Southern Vietnam, the lowest temperature will be 23-26 degrees Celsius; the highest temperature will be 30-33 degrees Celsius. There will be scattered showers at night, sunny during the day, and northeasterly winds of force 2-3.
