Seized over 8,000 loan flyers and many loan receipts

At 11:00 a.m. on April 4, 2025, My Tan Commune Police, Cao Lanh City received a report from local residents that a young man was distributing flyers offering consumer loans in the commune.

My Tan Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene and invited the young man to come in for questioning. At the police station, the young man declared his name as Le Huu Quyet (born in 1997), residing in Tan Phong town, Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province, who was renting a house in My Tho town, Cao Lanh district ( Dong Thap province). On April 4 and the previous days, he distributed flyers offering consumer loans in Ward 1, Cao Lanh city and My Tan commune. When anyone needed to borrow money, they could call the number printed on the flyer and Quyet would lend them money and only required them to show their ID card; the maximum loan amount was 20 million VND.

The seized exhibits included 2,500 leaflets on consumer support loans, 3.5 million VND and some other exhibits. Expanding the investigation, My Tan Commune Police, Cao Lanh City coordinated with the Criminal Police Department, Provincial Police and My Tho Town Police, Cao Lanh District to inspect the boarding house Quyet rented in My Tho Town. The police force seized over 5,750 leaflets on consumer support loans and loan receipts.

The case is currently being further investigated by My Tan Commune Police.
