On June 12th, Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, led a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security to offer condolences, encouragement, and posthumous promotion to the police officer who died in the attack in Dak Lak.
At the families' homes, the delegation from the Ministry of Public Security read out the decision of the Minister of Public Security to posthumously promote the ranks of the four officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives.
Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, led a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security to offer condolences, encouragement, and to present the promotion decision to the police officer who died in the attack in Dak Lak .
Along with announcing the decision to posthumously promote the ranks, the working group of the Ministry of Public Security also announced the support levels for the families of the fallen soldiers: 100 million VND per case of death and 50 million VND per case of injury.
At the homes of the families of the fallen police officers and soldiers, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang shared the immense grief with the families.
The Deputy Minister encouraged the families to overcome their grief and quickly stabilize their spirits and lives. He also encouraged and wished the police officers and soldiers who were seriously injured a speedy recovery.

On the morning of June 12th, Lieutenant General To An Xo, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, announced that the police forces of Dak Lak province had arrested 22 individuals involved in the armed attack on the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes (including the working area of the commune police) in Cu Kuin district on the early morning of June 11th.
During the arrest of the suspects, the police seized several military weapons, including the CKC rifle that the group used to commit the crime.

Previously, the Minister of Public Security decided to posthumously promote Captain Hoang Trung (born in 1981, from Nghi Loc, Nghe An, a police officer of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district) to the rank of Major. He also posthumously promoted Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Dang Nhan (born in 1994, from Yen Thanh, Nghe An, a police officer of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district) to the rank of Captain. Furthermore, he promoted Captain Tran Quoc Thang (born in 1989, from Thach Ha, Ha Tinh , a police officer of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district) to the rank of Major, and Senior Lieutenant Ha Tuan Anh (born in 1991, from Trieu Son, Thanh Hoa, a police officer of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district) to the rank of Captain.
Early in the morning of June 11th, in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province, an incident occurred where an unidentified group of people used firearms to attack the police stations of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, resulting in casualties among several commune police officers, commune officials, and local residents.
The Ministry of Public Security has directed the Dak Lak Provincial Police and other professional units to deploy forces to apprehend the suspects.
