Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang warmly welcomed and inquired about the students' and teachers' feelings on their first day visiting their homeland, Vietnam, and the opportunity to visit national historical and cultural sites to learn about Vietnam's history and meet and interact with their peers.

The Deputy Minister stated that this was the first time the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs had organized a visit to Vietnam for a delegation of Vietnamese children and teachers from South Korea.

She hopes that this trip will not only be an opportunity for the children to return, learn about, and experience the cultural values of their nation, but also a chance for them to meet and interact with their peers, together building beautiful and meaningful memories connected to their homeland, which will be cherished in their lives later on.

The Deputy Minister also thanked the parents, teachers, and the Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea for their dedicated cooperation in organizing this meaningful activity.

On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Do Ngoc Luyen, a lecturer at Kwang Un University, thanked Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and the leaders of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs for organizing this meaningful visit to their homeland, Vietnam, for the children, teachers, and parents of overseas Vietnamese in Korea. This was a long-held wish of hers, and now that wish has become a reality.

"This trip back to Vietnam helps the students feel even more proud of the history of their country and its people, and also prepares them for more meaningful programs focused on their homeland in the future," Ms. Luyen shared.
