The Ministry of Construction has submitted Proposal No. 02 to the Prime Minister, suggesting the organization of a conference to promote the healthy and sustainable development of social housing and the real estate market.
The conference is scheduled to take place at the end of January, chaired by the Prime Minister, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Ministers of Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Finance, the State Bank of Vietnam, and leaders of many ministries, sectors, and committees of the National Assembly .

The conference is expected to be attended by 200 delegates, including experts and representatives from the Vietnam Real Estate Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association, and many major real estate companies nationwide such as Vingroup, Sungroup, Novaland, Hung Thinh Land, Becamex IDC Binh Duong, CEO Group, Him Lam, Capital House, Capitaland, Viglacera, HUD, Ecopark, etc.
According to the plan, the conference will be held in person at the Government Office and online to the People's Committees of 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
According to data from the Ministry of Construction, based on reports from localities, from 2021 to the present, 644 social housing projects have been implemented nationwide, comprising over 580,100 units.
Of these, 96 projects have been completed, comprising over 57,600 units; 133 projects have commenced construction, comprising over 110,200 units; and 415 projects have received investment approval, comprising over 412,200 units.
In 2025, the Ministry of Construction has set a plan and task to complete an estimated 100,000 social housing units.
