(Chinhphu.vn) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 1624/QD-TTg dated July 28, 2025 on the consolidation of the Price Management Steering Committee (Steering Committee).

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 1624/QD-TTg dated July 28, 2025 on the consolidation of the Price Management Steering Committee.

According to the Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc is Head of the Steering Committee.

Deputy Head of the Committee is Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang.

Members of the Steering Committee include: Mr. Le Tan Can, Deputy Minister of Finance; Ms. Mai Thi Thu Van, Deputy Head of the Government Office; Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Le Duc Luan, Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Le Tan Dung, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Tran Thanh Nam, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Manh Khuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Sang, Deputy Minister of Construction; Mr. Pham Duc Long, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Pham Thanh Ha, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

The Ministry of Finance is the standing body of the Price Management Steering Committee, responsible for urging the implementation of tasks of the Steering Committee members as assigned by the Head of the Steering Committee in the Steering Committee's conclusions on price management in each period and synthesizing the results to report to the Steering Committee at meetings. The Minister of Finance - Deputy Head of the Price Management Steering Committee shall complete the members of the Steering Committee's Working Group according to the provisions of Point d, Clause 1, Article 6 of Decision No. 60/BCDĐHG dated September 15, 2014 of the Head of the Price Management Steering Committee on promulgating the Regulations on the operation of the Price Management Steering Committee.

The budget allocation for the activities of the Steering Committee is implemented according to the provisions of Article 7 of Decision No. 690/QD-TTg dated May 11, 2014 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee for price management. Specific activities apply the expenditure level for the work of synthesizing, analyzing and forecasting market prices according to the provisions of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BTC dated May 16, 2024 of the Minister of Finance regulating the work of synthesizing, analyzing and forecasting market prices and the budget to ensure the work of synthesizing, analyzing and forecasting market prices and the expenditure level in relevant legal documents.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing (July 28, 2025); replaces Decision No. 1086/QD-TTg dated October 2, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the Price Management Steering Committee.
