Implement the process of nominating candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On the afternoon of April 12th, comrades Ngo Dong Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired meetings to implement the five-step process for nominating candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Attending the meetings were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee.

Provincial leaders attended the conference of key provincial officials.

Speaking at the provincial key officials' conference, Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized the important purpose and requirements of each step in the process of nominating candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The comrade emphasized: Personnel work is an extremely important matter and must be prepared thoroughly, meticulously, objectively, impartially, and with high quality, in accordance with regulations. Based on the recommendations of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and in accordance with Plan 253, delegates are requested to uphold a high sense of responsibility, and based on the purpose, requirements, and current state of the cadre team, carefully consider and research to nominate candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Candidates must be absolutely loyal to the interests of the Party, the nation, the people, and the country; possess firm political stances, viewpoints, and character; have impeccable moral character; and lead honest, humble, sincere, and simple lives. They possess innovative thinking, practical capabilities, and a firm grasp of the fundamental realities to effectively concretize, lead, direct, and organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and those of the province.

Comrade Pham Van Tuan, Standing Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, introduced the personnel at the conference.

Based on the results of the first meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, at the provincial key officials' conference, after approving the plan for nominating candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, the delegates discussed the number, standards, professional qualifications, political theory, age, and professional capacity of the candidates and proceeded to vote by secret ballot to nominate candidates.

Based on the results of the personnel nominations at the key officials' conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee discussed and proceeded with the nomination of personnel by secret ballot. Based on the structure, number according to regulations, standards, conditions, and approved personnel work guidelines, and the results of the personnel nominations at the Provincial Party Committee's meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee discussed and voted by secret ballot to nominate candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, to be submitted to the competent authority for consideration and decision.
