At the conference, representatives of agencies and units under the General Department of Politics reported on the adjusted detailed planning of the Vietnam Military History Museum, phase 2; representatives of the General Staff's functional agencies reported on the functional zoning plan and the overall layout of the architectural and landscape space organization of the barracks of the Southern Command of the Ministry of National Defense .

After listening to the reports and agreeing with the opinions of the delegates attending the conference, on behalf of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, General Phan Van Giang made a concluding speech: Regarding the adjustment of the detailed planning of the Vietnam Military History Museum, it is required that relevant agencies and units continue to consult with prestigious experts in the fields of history, architecture, and sculpture; refer to the experience, models, and methods of major military history museums in the world, especially countries with famous museum works.

General Phan Van Giang emphasized that the Military History Museum is not only a place for sightseeing, but also a place for learning military history, helping students in the Army and students from outside to study and research history. The planning, design and display process must fully converge the knowledge of all sectors and fields, so that the project is both scientific and modern, and has unique historical, cultural, educational and aesthetic values.

The detailed planning needs to be adjusted in accordance with the approved regional planning, agree with the competent authorities on information, planning indicators and technical infrastructure connection agreements; comply with the standards and regulations of the State and the Ministry of National Defense; effectively exploit natural conditions and land location, propose suitable architectural solutions, creating harmony with the surrounding landscape; technical infrastructure solutions need to focus on synchronous connection with the area and projects deployed on the land area.

Regarding the functional zoning plan and the overall layout of the architectural landscape space of the Southern Command of the Ministry of National Defense, the competent authorities are required to carefully study the characteristics and shape of the land to organize and arrange suitable works on the land; effectively exploit the permitted land area to build works in the direction of integration, modernity, synchronization, quality, convenience, serving well the reception of guests and the working, eating, resting and living needs of officers and employees of agencies and units.

At the conference, the Central Military Commission Standing Committee also gave opinions on a number of contents and implemented other important contents related to personnel work.
