This is the second practice session of the Air Force through Ba Dinh Square to best prepare for the 80th National Day celebration taking place next month.
In addition to Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-172 helicopters and Casa transport aircraft, there were also SU-30MK2 fighters participating in today's training.
Today is the weekend, at Ba Dinh Square, many people and foreign tourists have been waiting early to welcome the pilots' performance.

10 helicopters fly in a 1-3-3-3 formation at an altitude of 150m or more when passing over the grandstand area. The pilots maintain a strict formation, keeping a distance of 100m, with a horizontal - vertical distance of 50x50m.
The Su-30MK2 is the most modern fighter aircraft of the Vietnamese army, put into service in December 2006.
Flying a formation of 5 Su-30MK2s in arrow formation is the main flight exercise practiced by pilots.
The aircraft has 12 fixed points under the wings to mount weapons, equipped with diverse firepower from air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground missiles, rockets, guided bombs, conventional bombs...
