Received nearly 400 units of blood at the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in Tang Loong Industrial Park

On the morning of May 27, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to organize a voluntary blood donation festival at Tang Loong Industrial Park (Bao Thang district).

This is the second voluntary blood donation festival in May held in Bao Thang district in response to the "Summer Blood Drops" Campaign and the "Red Journey" Program in 2025.

The festival attracted more than 650 volunteers who are officials, workers and laborers at Tang Loong Industrial Park, Bao Thang district.

Hundreds of volunteers signed up to donate blood.

As a result, the festival received 396 units of blood, exceeding the plan by 13%. This amount of blood will be transported to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to serve the emergency and treatment of patients.

Representatives of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented flowers to blood donors.

On June 3, the Provincial Red Cross will organize the biggest blood donation festival of the year with the theme: Red Journey - Red Border for the 7th time. The festival is expected to attract about 2,000 volunteers.
