The music night Long and Short Sideburns will take place on the evening of December 15 at Sol 8, 8 Nguyen Cong Hoan, Hanoi.
This is the first mini show of Ha Trinh (old stage name: Dieu Ha) since the MV Tinh ca and the album Nghin trung xa ca (A thousand miles apart) including 9 compositions by Pham Duy with arrangement by Nguyen Huu Vuong released early last year.
Ha Trinh: Waking up at 4am to put on makeup, dress up, and sing for online audiences is normal.
After getting married, she just stayed at home writing and taking care of her children. Sometimes she felt something was missing, which was the reason why she created a TikTok channel and became an online singer, often turning on "singing mode" for online audiences at 4-6am.
The reason she chose such a difficult time frame is because only when her child is fast asleep does she have time for herself.
Ha Trinh considers music as a way to balance her life. Moreover, the online show market is very vibrant. Live streaming at this time will avoid competition with other shows.
Listening to Ha's story, I realized that being successful in livestreaming is very hard work.
In addition to investing in a studio-like room of about 500 million VND equipped with sound, cameras, video cameras, and soundproofing, she also puts on makeup, dresses up, and then turns on livestream mode (goes live) to sing for her audience.
"Even though the audience is in a virtual space, they are still real people, and wherever there are people listening to me sing, I will sing with all my heart, so I tell myself to be as professional as possible. There are even days when I spend 45 minutes on makeup before going live and invest in costumes like ao dai, which is normal," Ha shared with Tuoi Tre Online.
About once a week, she organizes a live session with guest singers, musicians, MCs, and proper poster design, but she does it during the day when possible.

Do a music night because you want to interact directly with the audience
Last year, Ha Trinh released the MV and album "Thousands of Miles Apart" because he loved musician Pham Duy's music so much.
Although not a singer with formal vocal training, Ha impresses with her nostalgic voice, singing emotionally, roundly and clearly. This is something not all young singers today can do.

Ha's audience is diverse, all of whom have the habit of waking up early like her. Ha sings many types of music, but audiences often request Trinh Cong Son, Pham Duy, and many other golden songs, love songs, and pre-war songs. Thanks to online audience "orders", she has learned many songs she didn't know before.
Although singing online can bring in income (many audiences donate money) and satisfy their passion, the feeling of standing in front of a live audience is still different. That is why after a year of singing online, Ha Trinh decided to hold a private concert, singing live for his beloved audience, even though it was very expensive.
While many online singers still use tools (software to support or edit their voices), she only likes to sing live and is not afraid of singing live. The singer said that not using tools makes her voice only out of tune or out of tune, not "distorted".
Music Night Short and Long Hair fit collaboration with the band Mau Nuoc consists of three chapters. In the folk/folk lyric chapter, she combines electronic music. In the old music/love music chapter, the music will be remixed or have new intros compared to the old mixes. In the final chapter, she will sing Vietnamese pop ballads and immortal international love songs.
