On the afternoon of December 3 at the headquarters of the Vietnam Sports Department, Vietnammobile Telecommunications Joint Stock Company and Coc Coc Company Limited officially announced that they would become sponsors of the Vietnam Sports Delegation attending the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.

The cooperation aims to provide maximum support for communication, technology and media conditions for coaches, athletes and delegation officials throughout the competition period (taking place from December 9 to 20).

With the desire to ensure continuous, smooth and stable connection during the competition, Vietnamobile sponsored 1,500 high-speed, large-capacity international eSIM cards for coaches, athletes and delegation officials. Each member of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will be sponsored 20GB of high-speed data/day during the 33rd SEA Games.

Through the eSIM solution, Vietnamobile hopes to contribute to creating an "uninterrupted connection circuit" - helping the Vietnamese team compete with peace of mind, proactively communicate information and add technological strength on the journey to conquer achievements at the SEA Games. The Vietnamese sports delegation will proactively communicate, update information, quickly grasp the competition schedule and effectively support professional, technical and communication work.

In parallel, Coc Coc - a Make in Vietnam technology company, the owner of the most popular browser and search engine in Vietnam - will join the media campaign to cheer on the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 33rd SEA Games.

Promoting the strength of the digital platform serving more than 30 million Vietnamese people, Coc Coc offers a media sponsorship package worth 1 billion VND with the following categories: conveying important information about the 33rd SEA Games such as competition schedule, results of the events and impressive moments of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation, reserving a prominent position on the browser's New Tab page for news and spreading images and inspirational stories of athletes to fans.

Coc Coc representative also said that they will give cash rewards to the athletes who win the first gold medal for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the upcoming congress, however the amount has not been disclosed.

Mr. Tran Van Manh, General Secretary of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, acknowledged the support of the two sponsors and hoped to receive more support from sponsors for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation through bonuses for athletes achieving results at the 33rd SEA Games.

"The support of the business community is a great source of motivation, contributing to creating outstanding achievements and bringing Vietnamese sports to the regional and continental level," said Mr. Manh.

The combination between Vietnamobile and Coc Coc not only has the meaning of sponsorship but also shows the spirit of solidarity of Vietnamese enterprises in promoting the country's sports.

Practical support in technology, communication and connection will help the Vietnamese Sports Delegation confidently conquer many new achievements at the 33rd SEA Games arena.

The Vietnamese Sports Delegation will depart for Thailand from Hanoi on December 7. The delegation's goal is to win between 91 and 110 gold medals at the 33rd SEA Games.
