RB Leipzig refuses to sell Sesko to Newcastle for 80 million euros

According to Sky Germany, RB Leipzig has rejected an €80 million ($87.2 million) offer from Newcastle for striker Benjamin Sesko. The German club believes that this price is not up to expectations and wants the Premier League representative to return with a higher offer.

In addition to Newcastle, Man United are also pursuing the Slovenian striker. However, the "Red Devils" have not officially raised the issue and are at a disadvantage because they will not be participating in the Champions League next season, and are also busy with plans to liquidate players who are no longer suitable.

Elsewhere, Alexander Isak is expected to return to Newcastle for training early next week after a 10-day absence during the Asian tour. Liverpool are said to only return to negotiations if Newcastle find a replacement for Isak.

Arteta hints at possibility of keeping Kiwior

Amid reports that many teams are interested in Jakub Kiwior, coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that the Polish defender is still in Arsenal's personnel plan. However, if they receive a reasonable offer, Arsenal is ready to consider selling.

According to The Telegraph, the Emirates team has rejected several offers from Italy and Portugal. Last season, Kiwior played 17 matches in the Premier League and scored 1 goal.

Son Heung-min bid farewell to Tottenham

At a press conference in Seoul (South Korea) before the friendly match between Tottenham and Newcastle (6pm on August 3), Son Heung-min confirmed that he will leave the London team this summer.

“This is the most difficult decision of my career. I have achieved everything I could at Tottenham and needed a new challenge,” Son said.

Joining Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 for €25 million ($27.2 million), Son has played 454 games and scored 173 goals – becoming the biggest icon of Asian football in the Premier League.

Son's next destination is likely to be Los Angeles FC (MLS), although the offer is lower than the Saudi Arabian clubs. However, Son himself is said to prioritize experiencing life in the US.

Football transfer news 3.8: Man United
Antony could stay at Man United if no club meets his €45m fee

Man United "turn around", keep Antony because of new recruits?

According to journalist Ben Jacobs (GiveMeSport), Man United may not sell Antony in the summer transfer window of 2025. Although he is no longer in coach Ruben Amorim's personnel plan, the Brazilian star is highly appreciated by new recruits such as Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo for his ability to stir up opposing defenses.

Antony has also proven his ability when playing for Real Betis on loan in the second half of last season. Although there has been no official move from coach Amorim, the possibility of Antony continuing to stay at Old Trafford is completely possible, especially when no team has accepted the asking price of 45 million euros (49.1 million USD).

Newcastle welcomes former Arsenal player

Newcastle have confirmed that they have successfully signed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on loan from Southampton, with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Previously, the number one target of "Chich choe" was James Trafford, but Man City won the signature of this 22-year-old goalkeeper for a fee of 33 million euros (about 36 million USD).

Aaron Ramsdale, 27, was a regular at Arsenal for two seasons before losing his place to David Raya and moving to Southampton. He made 183 Premier League appearances in total, keeping 41 clean sheets.

Garnacho just wants to continue playing in the Premier League

According to Fichajes, several clubs in La Liga, Serie A and Saudi Arabia have approached Man United to buy Alejandro Garnacho. However, the 21-year-old Argentine striker does not want to leave the Premier League.

Through his agent, Garnacho has confirmed that he only wants to join a Premier League club that has a ticket to the Champions League. Chelsea are the most likely name, but the deal is unlikely to happen when The Blues have recruited many attacking players such as Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Estevao, and are negotiating with Xavi Simons.

Tottenham – who are set to part ways with Son Heung-min – could also be a potential destination for Garnacho.
