On the morning of November 3, comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired a working session of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee with the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to assess the implementation of internal affairs tasks, anti-corruption, anti-negativity and judicial reform since the province's merger; and orient key tasks in the coming time.

At the working session, Comrade Phung Tien Quan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, reported on the results of performing its functions and tasks after the merger. The agency has proactively and promptly advised the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee to issue many important documents on leadership and direction of internal affairs, prevention and fight against corruption, negativity, and judicial reform. Notably, the work of advising on documents and plans on prevention and fight against corruption and negativity; establishing and perfecting the Provincial Steering Committee for prevention and fight against corruption, waste, and negativity; and completing the draft thematic Resolution of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity in the new situation.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has closely coordinated with the internal affairs agencies, proactively grasped the security and order situation during the process of merging and rearranging administrative units; promptly advised on solutions to maintain political stability, social order and safety, contributing to creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development. The work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations has been given attention and seriously implemented according to the regulations of the Provincial Party Committee. Since the merger, the Committee has received and processed 345 petitions and letters, of which 106 were forwarded to competent authorities for consideration and resolution; guided and responded to 4 petitions and letters; received citizens 79 times, focusing on the fields of land, compensation and site clearance.

At the same time, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has proactively reviewed and assessed the political standards of the contingent of cadres and party members, especially the personnel expected to participate in the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to complete the direction of handling 1 case under the supervision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. The work of political and ideological education , Party building, and organizational apparatus improvement has been carried out seriously and effectively; the contingent of cadres, civil servants, and workers has basically stabilized their ideology, united, unified, and strived to complete their tasks.

Concluding the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh acknowledged and commended the spirit of solidarity and efforts of the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee in the first period after the merger, who were proactive and creative, ensuring smooth and stable operations of the agency; making important contributions to the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee in maintaining political security, social order and safety, preventing and stopping corruption and negativity.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: In the context of the province after the merger, the task of internal affairs has even higher requirements. The Internal Affairs Committee needs to thoroughly grasp the Central Committee's direction on internal affairs in order to continue to promote its central role in strategic advice, especially in sensitive and complicated areas; proactively grasp the local situation, promptly advise and propose solutions to outstanding issues, and not let "hot spots" form. He especially emphasized the need to strengthen coordination between the Internal Affairs Committee and internal affairs agencies, this is an extremely important task that determines the success of the work.

He requested that each officer of the Internal Affairs Committee must be knowledgeable about the law; grasp, forecast and closely assess the situation, promptly report to superior agencies so that no cases or matters remain unsolved, causing public outrage. Continue to advise the Provincial Party Standing Committee to issue a specialized Resolution on strengthening the Party's leadership in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the new situation; promote judicial reform associated with the application of information technology and digital transformation in the agency's operations. Strictly implement the Regulations on receiving citizens, handling petitions and letters; regularly monitor and urge cases after receiving citizens according to the direction of the Provincial Party Secretary; strengthen analysis and forecast of the situation.
