Manchester United are reportedly prioritizing Carlos Baleba, but Brighton are demanding an unrealistic transfer fee of £100 million.

Therefore, MU officials are considering signing Wharton. The 21-year-old English midfielder is at a much more reasonable price (Crystal Palace want £60 million; MU are expected to pay £40 million).

Wharton rose through the ranks at Crystal Palace and is now attracted by Manchester United's restructuring. He would be an ideal successor to Casemiro in the future.

Through an intermediary, Milan began formal negotiations regarding a loan fee of €6 million, a buy-out clause of €45 million, and salary.

Milan are focused on achieving a high ranking in Serie A, even competing for the Scudetto. Therefore, coach Max Allegri is very keen to have Hojlund to add more options in attack.

For his part, Hojlund remained silent regarding Milan's offer. The Danish striker expressed his intention to stay at MU, even if he wasn't used by Ruben Amorim in the match against Fiorentina.

Previously, coach Max Allegri tried to prevent Thiaw from leaving Milan. However, after Newcastle decided to raise the transfer fee to 40 million euros, the Rossoneri agreed.

Thiaw performed outstandingly during the pre-season friendlies. However, the German player publicly expressed his intention to move to Newcastle to participate in the Champions League.

Once they complete the signing of Thiaw, bringing their total summer transfer fee to €100 million, Newcastle will focus on Ollie Watkina (Aston Villa) and Yoane Wissa (Brentford).
