Honoring outstanding Hai Phong women, pioneers for the community and society, period 2020

Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; Pham Van Lap, Chairman of the City People's Council; Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Pham Van Thep, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Vu Thi Kim Lien, President of the City Women's Union; Pham Thi Thu Hien, President of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union; and representatives of leaders of relevant Departments, agencies, unions, units and localities.

70 years after liberation, Hai Phong has grown strongly, becoming a dynamic development center of the Northern Coastal region and the whole country. The city is constantly changing every day with a modern infrastructure system, high-tech industrial parks, and an increasingly civilized and modern urban appearance. In that development journey, Hai Phong women have made important contributions, being the main labor force and a solid spiritual support for families and society. Over the years, women in the city have always actively responded to typical patriotic emulation movements such as: "Three responsibilities", "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families", "Building Vietnamese women of the new era"... These practical movements have contributed significantly to the socio -economic development of the city today.

Over the past 5 years, thousands of typical, advanced women who are outstanding in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style have appeared, contributing to spreading good values, making the tradition of "Loyalty - Responsibility - Talent - Creativity" of Hai Phong women more glorious.

Exchange "Red phoenix flower color aspiration".

Within the framework of the program, delegates attended a special exchange with the theme "Aspiration for the color of Red Flamboyant", this is an opportunity to spread life inspiration, dedication and solidarity between generations of Hai Phong women.

At the program, authentic and profound stories were shared, helping listeners better understand the courage, determination and aspiration to rise up and assert themselves of women in the Port City in all life circumstances.

Gratitude to former leaders of the City Women's Union.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee would like to express gratitude to the former leaders of the City Women's Union through the periods - those who have inspired passion, enthusiasm and responsibility throughout the journey of building and developing the Union.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements that the City Women's Union at all levels has achieved in the past time. He emphasized that the Union at all levels needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on arousing the aspiration to rise up in each member; at the same time, discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models, especially at the grassroots level.

The Chairman of the City People's Council believes that the advanced models will continue to spread the spirit of patriotic emulation, inspire dedication to the community, especially the young generation, thereby actively contributing to the comprehensive development of the city. He sent a message to every woman - whether a worker, farmer, intellectual or businesswoman - to always be confident in overcoming all barriers and prejudices, affirming their own values, building a happy family and living responsibly towards the community. Together, Hai Phong women will cultivate a modern - proactive - connected - loving female community, becoming a solid foundation for the city to step firmly into the new era of national development.

Commendation and reward for 8 collectives and 8 individuals who are outstanding in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle according to Directive 05 of the Politburo.

Awarding the Online Contest to learn about patriotic emulation movements to 3 groups with outstanding achievements in mobilizing cadres, women's union members and people to participate. The contest recorded the following results: 03 First prizes, 06 Second prizes, 09 Third prizes and 02 consolation prizes for correct predictions.

Commending 70 typical advanced and excellent faces - outstanding individuals in the emulation movement of women in the Port City.

At the Conference, the Organizing Committee commended and honored outstanding groups and individuals - women who are energetic, creative in work, exemplary in life, pioneers in starting a business and dedicated to the community and society./.
