After 4 days of working with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Steadfastness - Breakthrough - Development" and a high sense of responsibility, on October 2, the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army, term 2025 - 2030, completed all the contents and programs set out and held the closing session.
Attending the congress were General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong.
The Congress approved the Political Report and the Review Report of the 11th Central Military Commission for the 2020-2025 term; discussed documents of the Central Military Commission; discussed and contributed opinions to draft documents of the Central Committee. The Congress also elected 48 delegates along with 16 ex-officio delegates currently working in the Army to attend the 14th Party Congress.
In his closing speech at the congress, General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, happily announced to all cadres, party members, people in the entire army, militia and self-defense forces and people nationwide: The 12th Congress of the Army Party Committee, term 2025-2030, was a great success.
The General Secretary pointed out that the policies and decisions adopted by the congress are important orientations for the Party Committee of the Army and the entire army to strive to build a clean, strong, exemplary, and representative Party Committee of the Army, build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Army; enhance national defense strength, firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland, and contribute to building a peaceful, prosperous, prosperous, civilized, and happy country, steadily advancing toward socialism.
General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong congratulated the delegates elected to attend the 14th Party Congress.
General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, delivered a speech at the congress.
In particular, the congress opened a new chapter in the cause of building the army and consolidating national defense in a modern direction so that the army can increasingly develop strongly, always be the political force, the absolute, loyal and trustworthy fighting force of the Party, State and people, and form the solid core of the all-people national defense and the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
General Secretary To Lam also requested Party committees and commanders at all levels to focus on leading, directing, and organizing well the dissemination and propaganda work widely within the Party Committee of the Army and the entire army about the congress results.
In addition, agencies immediately brought the resolution to units, each officer and soldier in the entire army, making the resolution truly vital, ensuring that the congress's policies and decisions were quickly realized in reality with the best, most vivid and effective results.
