Ho Chi Minh City: Man arrested urgently for assaulting woman on the street after traffic accident.

On the evening of December 10th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of District 4 Police, Ho Chi Minh City, urgently arrested Bui Thanh Khoa (40 years old, residing in District 10, currently living in Nha Be District) to investigate the act of "intentionally causing injury".

Accordingly, on the morning of December 9th, Ms. QTA (23 years old, residing in District 1) was driving her SH motorbike on Khanh Hoi Street, heading from District 7 towards Kenh Te Bridge. When she reached the front of house number 120-122 Khanh Hoi, Ms. A. was forced against the roadside railing by Khoa, who was driving a Honda Air Blade motorbike with license plate 59H1-547.48, resulting in a collision.

Afterward, Khoa stopped his car, turned around, and assaulted Ms. A. He punched her hard in the face and head, and kicked her in the face, causing her to fall. Only when a driver of a 16-seater vehicle coming from the opposite direction stopped to intervene did Khoa leave.

Ms. A. reported the incident to the Police Station of Ward 4, District 4, and went to District 4 Hospital for examination of her injuries. The injury certificate recorded that Ms. A. suffered bruising and swelling on her right cheekbone and bruising of the mucous membrane of her lower lip measuring 2x2 cm.

Ms. A. also submitted a request for injury assessment and criminal prosecution against Khoa. A passerby provided dashcam footage, clarifying Khoa's violent behavior and demanding strict punishment.

According to the District 4 Police, Khoa's aggressive and thuggish behavior not only injured the victim but also demonstrated a blatant disregard for the law, occurring in a public place and causing public outrage.
