The ceremony to welcome tourist groups to Ho Chi Minh City in early 2025 is the opening event for a series of tourism promotion activities of the city this year.

On the morning of January 1, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietnam Airlines and Tan Son Nhat International Airport to organize a ceremony to welcome the first group of tourists to Ho Chi Minh City.

The event took place at conveyor belts 4 and 5, international terminal, Tan Son Nhat airport. This is the opening activity for a series of events to promote and advertise tourism in Ho Chi Minh City in the new year.

From the first minutes of arriving in the city, visitors are welcomed with traditional activities imbued with the flavor of Tet such as enjoying tea ceremony, watching traditional musical instrument performances, admiring the art of calligraphy, making clay figurines, or decorating paper fans.

Not stopping there, the organizers have prepared special gifts such as conical hats, cloth bags, teddy bears, quilling paper paintings, vegan cosmetics and roasted coffee from famous brands.
