HCMC: Creating a "green lane" for sand transport vehicles serving the Ring Road 3 project

On May 27, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc issued urgent instructions on creating favorable conditions for sand transport vehicles to serve the construction of the Ring Road 3 project, the section passing through the city.

Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Border Guard, Inland Waterways Port Authority Region III, Department of Construction and Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinate to inspect and control vehicles according to the principle that each transport is only inspected once, and the results are recognized between stations to minimize unnecessary congestion and delays.

At the same time, the Department of Construction was assigned to preside over the establishment of a “green sand transport channel” exclusively for construction contractors. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport will provide a list of vehicles and related documents to the authorities for unified control and to avoid duplication.

Relevant units are responsible for periodically reporting progress to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Department of Construction, promptly proposing solutions if difficulties arise.
