Ethnic affairs, ethnic policies, programs, projects and national target programs have been implemented with practical results, contributing to promoting the socio -economic development in the district, especially in particularly difficult communes and villages.

In the period of 2019 - 2024, the technical infrastructure system in the district has received more investment attention, through investment sources and forms, focusing on traffic infrastructure, infrastructure in particularly difficult communes and particularly difficult villages. With a total investment capital in the district of 630.5 billion VND. The district has implemented investment in 197 projects, including 11 school projects, 7 electricity projects, 159 traffic projects, 2 projects for planning, arranging and stabilizing residents in necessary places (migration projects), 3 irrigation and domestic water projects, 15 other technical infrastructure projects... the rural appearance of ethnic minority areas in Trang Dinh district has improved a lot.

By the end of 2023, the total number of poor households was 751, accounting for 4.34%; near-poor households were 1,418, accounting for 8.2%; 10/22 communes met new rural standards, of which 1 commune met advanced new rural standards, over 98% of the population had access to the national grid. The rate of population participating in health insurance reached 89.2%; 100% of children under 6 years old were issued free health insurance cards...

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Nam - Secretary of Trang Dinh District Party Committee said: Thoroughly grasping the viewpoints and guidelines of the Party and State on ethnic affairs, innovating the work of mobilizing people and implementing ethnic policies of Party committees, authorities, organizations at all levels and the efforts of ethnic minorities have achieved many achievements in all areas of socio-economic development, especially in ethnic affairs, poverty reduction and new rural construction, building a contingent of ethnic minority cadres. The socio-economic situation, national defense and security; consolidation, building the Party and political system have many positive changes; the appearance of rural areas in ethnic minority areas in the district has improved a lot.

Mr. Lam Van Vien - Deputy Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Lang Son province awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals at the Congress.

With the theme: "Ethnic solidarity, innovation and development", delegates at the Congress contributed many enthusiastic and responsible opinions, proposed solutions to strengthen the Great Unity of ethnic groups; develop the economy - society, ensure national defense - security associated with preserving cultural identity... contributing to improving the quality of ethnic work in the period of 2024 - 2029.

The Congress elected 15 delegates to attend the 4th Provincial Congress of Ethnic Minorities in 2024.

On this occasion, the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Lang Son province awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals. The Chairman of Trang Dinh District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 10 individuals with achievements in ethnic work.
