Ms. Dinh is the character in the article "Small dream of a disabled mother" published in the "Address for help" section of Quang Tri Newspaper on October 5, 2024.

Unfortunately, paralyzed since birth, Ms. Dinh has to rely on relatives for all her daily activities. To have money to take care of everything in the house, her husband has to work many jobs, however, the family's situation is still difficult.

In recent years, Ms. Dinh has been sick frequently. Because her heart and lungs are both weak, there are times when she spends most of her time in the hospital. Her husband had to quit his part-time job, leave the children and the house to take care of her. The income from her husband's work as a hired hand was gone, and the whole family was pushed into a difficult situation.

Ms. Dinh has always wanted to own a wheelchair. Even the bed she sleeps on every day is made from old, damaged items from other people. Seeing her son grow up but still not knowing what happiness is, having to lie on the floor every day, she cannot help but feel heartbroken. The couple's intention to renovate the house and give their son a separate bedroom has not yet come true.

To help make Ms. Dinh's dream come true, a reader of Quang Tri Newspaper, through the program "Quang Tri Newspaper's Compassionate Arms", sent her a wheelchair worth 2 million VND and 1 million VND in cash.

On this occasion, in order to share her situation, Quang Tri Newspaper also donated an additional 1 million VND. Hopefully, this gift will give Ms. Dinh some motivation and strength to overcome her illness and rise up in life.

Touched by the meaningful gift, Ms. Dinh said: "Thank you, dear readers, for helping me realize my dream. With a wheelchair for easy mobility and money for medical treatment, I hope my husband and I's difficulties will soon pass."

The program "Quang Tri Newspaper's Compassionate Arms" has spread the flame of love to many places, giving difficult circumstances the opportunity to rise up.
